Professional Development Workshop

Join us for a dynamic, inspiring day where expert craftspeople share honest insights and real success stories from their creative careers. This professional development workshop is designed to support makers at every stage—whether you're just starting out or looking to grow an established practice.

The day includes practical guidance on achieving your goals, from applying for funding to expanding your creative business, alongside plenty of opportunities to connect with peers.

What to expect:

  • Spotlight Speakers offering valuable perspectives from within the craft and design sector
  • A Maker Spotlight session featuring a selected designer‑maker who will share their practice, challenges, and recent achievements
  • Networking Lunch providing space for conversation, collaboration, and new connections
  • A warm, informal environment that encourages learning, reflection, and creative exchange

Craft Café creates a welcoming space where makers can connect, recharge, and leave energised—with fresh ideas, renewed motivation, and meaningful new contacts.

Transport will be provided from Enterprise House, O'Brien Rd., Carlow leaving at 8am. 

Craftwork 4.0 All is defined as a platform of international and intercultural co-creation, created among 12 organisations from 12 countries, and aiming at supporting emerging craft artists and practitioners to co-create, cooperate and promote their work, developing a common European programming of non-national craft artists and of trainings.
