Hand Across Generations - Digital Marketing for the Creative Sector for Older Adults

Online Workshop with Helen McNulty

As part of the Hand Across Generations Erasmus+ Programme, participants from Lithuania, Greece, Italy, Finland, Cyprus, Spain, and Ireland are invited to take part in Digital Marketing for the Creative Sector for Older Adults, facilitated by Helen McNulty from the Entrepreneurs Academy .

The online programme will take place on Wednesday, 23rd September 2026, from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Irish Time).

This interactive workshop is designed to support older adults involved in creative, cultural, artistic, craft, heritage, and community-based enterprises to develop practical digital marketing skills that can help them reach wider audiences, promote their work effectively, and build an online presence with confidence.

Programme Content

The workshop will cover:

  • Understanding the fundamentals of digital marketing and its importance for creative businesses and projects.
  • Identifying and understanding your target audience.
  • Developing a compelling personal, creative, or business brand online.
  • Creating engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Storytelling techniques for promoting creative products, services, events, and experiences.
  • Using photography, video, and simple design tools to create attractive digital content.
  • Best practices for managing social media accounts and growing an online community.
  • Introduction to content planning and scheduling tools.
  • Building and maintaining a simple online presence through websites, blogs, and online marketplaces.
  • Understanding digital marketing analytics and measuring the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Practical tips for increasing visibility, engagement, and sales through digital channels.
  • Emerging digital trends and opportunities for the creative sector.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session, participants will:
