Join us for an engaging and practical lunchtime session exploring what truly works when it comes to workplace wellbeing.
In today’s fast-paced and high-pressure work environments, wellbeing is no longer a “nice to have” — it is essential to performance, retention, culture, and sustainable growth. This session brings together experienced leaders to share real-world insights, practical strategies, and people-focused approaches that create measurable impact.
Whether you are a business owner, manager, HR professional, or team leader, you will leave with actionable ideas you can implement immediately.
Meet the Speakers:
Paul Delahunty:
Last year, Paul Delahunty joined Carlow-based cloud solutions company Stryve as chief information security officer. In this role, he works with clients in Ireland, the UK and across Europe and manages the internal team to deliver cybersecurity and cloud advisory services. Paul started his career as an engineer with Ericsson, and then moved into the infosec industry with Irish start-ups Moqom and ThorsNet. Before joining Stryve, he was information security and audit manager for the Hostelworld Group.
Calodagh McCumiskey:
Before working as a wellbeing specialist for the last 15 years, Calodagh spent 14 years leading humanitarian operations in some of the world’s most challenging and high-pressure environments. Her career took her to war zones, and drought and flood-stricken regions where she helped rebuild lives, livelihoods and communities recovering from epidemics, tsunamis and other natural and manmade disasters. She managed multi-million-euro projects, led multicultural teams across continents, and worked alongside people facing extreme loss, uncertainty and change. This experience gave her a unique understanding of human behaviour under pressure and how individuals and teams respond mentally, emotionally, physically and organisationally when the stakes are high and resources are limited.
Denise Whelan:
Denise’s career spans over 20 years in leadership and HR, with a well-established reputation as a commercially focused C-level HR Executive. She built and led HR functions, supported scaling businesses, managed mergers and acquisitions, and guided organisations and their employees through complex change and transformation. Denise has gained international experience, with scaling businesses in the US and UK. Throughout her career, she has supported businesses to grow and transform by enabling exceptional leadership, aligning culture, and unlocking the full potential of their people. Today, as an independent Organisational Development Consultant, Denise works with business leaders to strengthen their organisational capability, align their people strategies with business goals, and drive performance through practical, people-focused solutions.
