Google Ads is an extremely effective way to drive quality traffic to your website and generate sales and leads. This fully interactive workshop will take participants through how to set up a full Google Ad search campaign and be able to monitor and manage it successfully for a high return on investment.


Workshop outline


  • Setting up a campaign in Google Ads

  • Setting up an AdGroup and choosing key words

  • Keyword quality score

  • Using Google Keyword Planner, Google auto-complete and Ubersuggest for choosing campaign key words

  • Writing an effective ad and using Ad extensions effectively to increase position and click through rate

  • Evaluation of existing campaign and improvements to ensure a high click through rate and conversion rate

  • Linking Google Analytics data and customising Google Ads reports

  • Conversions – setting up conversion tracking


Pre-requisite and Participant Preparation 

All participants must have their Google Ads account set up prior to the course commencing. This will include their billing details (account set-up dictates this). Phone and email support is provided to any participant that may require assistance with this. Account access details will be required on the day.

Participants to bring laptop for this workshop (i.e. not tablet or smartphone).

Note: If required, the trainer can arrive 30 minutes early to assist a participant with setting up his/her Google Ads account prior to the commencement of the workshop (bring Credit Card as Google requires billing details to be set up at the start).
