COwoRK City

Cork City Council, in conjunction with the Local Enterprise Office, Cork City, will be launching a new co-working space for fledgling companies in early 2018.  Enterprises based in this space will have access to:

  • Dedicated Desk Space and storage, for fixed weekly rate to include rates & service charges
  • Free WiFi
  • Events Space with Smart TV's
  • Conference & Meeting Rooms
  • Kitchen Area
  • Breakout Space
  • Access, on site, to supports of the Local Enterprise Office, Cork City

This modern and open plan space at the Civic Offices is available to start up, micro enterrpises looking to develop their business idea before they graduate to other spaces around the city when they are ready to scale up.  The start up space is a key part of Cork City Council's innovation and entrepreneurship strategy and it seeks to build upon and complement the now thriving co-working environment in Cork City that new enterprises are demanding.

Application Process

All applications received will be submitted through the Local Enterprise Office, Cork City and preference will be granted to start up micro enterprises that are in the area of manufacturing or have potential to become internationally traded (i.e. exporting) or progress to the Enterprise Ireland portfolio over time.

The Local Enterprise Office will work closely with these companies to assist them grow and develop their businesses in a supportive environment.

Please note that all applicants will be required, if selected, to complete and submit a business proposal along with evidence of payment capacity.
