  • De-mystifying payment gateways – PayPal, Realex or other?
  • Options available for website build -open source self-hosted      solution, Saas Hosted options?
  • Your Products: Understanding your catalogue and arranging it for      Ecommerce
  • Getting your products to your customers: Logistics and Delivery
  • Other Channels: Marketplace Alternatives and Options (Ebay, Amazon,      Google Shopping)
  • SEO, SEM and the basics of digital marketing
  • Design, Navigation, layout, user experience, how these affect      conversion rate optimisation
  • Conversion rates and traffic requirements: How to estimate sales      and revenue
  • Currencies, Language and other considerations
  • Writing a specification or project description
  • Budgeting considerations: Development costs and ongoing costs.
  • EU Data Privacy lays, Terms & Conditions, EU Cookies Directive
  • Beyond the website: Customer Service, Support, Logistics etc

The 1-day workshop will be supported by a follow-up one-to-one session with the trainer to provide a hands-on introduction to Ecommerce (date for the one-to-one session will be confirmed directly with participants). At the end of the workshop, time will be allocated to allow attendees to begin a project description/specification which will form the basis of the one-to-one session.
