Student Enterprise Programme for Secondary Schools 2023/24
Our Local Enterprise Office's annual Enterprise Education Programme for secondary school students starts again this September.
The Student Enterprise Programme (SEP) competition is the Local Enterprise Offices' flagship enterprise programme at second level. Approx. 17,000 students from all areas of the country participate annually. It is a practical programme that offers students the opportunity to take a business from idea stage, through market research to production, selling, record keeping, management and finally writing a comprehensive report on the business.
Students compete for prizes at school, county and national level and participation in the Student Enterprise Awards enables students to acquire and develop a wide range of personal and business attributes and skills. For more information visit Student Enterprise Programme website
In 2022/23, nearly 700 Students from 14 schools across Dún Laoghaire Rathdown took part in the Student Enterprise Programme across idea generation, show-case and County Final events.
