The aim of this programme is to provide each participant with a thorough understanding of the principles and practices of both Critical and Creative Thinking. The participants will learn hands-on techniques to generate breakthrough ideas and solve their most pressing problems while challenging habitual patterns of thinking. This programme will explore how to develop new and improved habits of thinking efficiently and allowing each participant to broaden their thinking skills to confidently explore the problem fully before the decision making process takes place. Eight specific areas will be covered in great detail, which revolve around our model to provide each participant with the key tools to thinking critically and to address everyday problems that may occur in the workplace.

This workshop will cover:

  • Problem Finding - identifying where there is an opportunity for positive change within our business
  • Fact Finding - ensuring all elements of the opportunity are considered
  • Problem Definition - defining precisely where the opportunity or challenge lies and what it looks like
  • Idea Generation- engaging in creative thinking to ensure all options are considered
  • Selection - how to critically select the best option considering all elements of the opportunity / challenge
  • Planning - how we will make this work within our business
  • Sell Idea - who and how to influence to ensure the plans can be implemented
  • Action - defined steps to make it happen
