County Kilkenny to celebrate National Women’s Enterprise Day on October 18th
Local Enterprise Office Kilkenny along with the neighbouring Local Enterprise Office in Carlow has planned a networking event for aspiring female entrepreneurs and female-led businesses across the 2 counties at Mount Juliet Estate, Thomastown on Thursday 18th October.

The LEO network is enlisting the help of established female entrepreneurs to act as Local Ambassadors and share their success stories. Special guests include Dr. Sinead Kane, acclaimed double Guinness world record holder, visually impaired athlete, & qualified lawyer and also actress/comedian and TV presenter Deirdre O’Kane. Sinead has an inspirational story to tell and has proved that persistence in spite of obstacles can develop determination, motivation and help creativity. The MC for the Eimear O’Bhraoinain, KCLR96Fm will chat with Deirdre O’Kane on the topic of “Life Lessons for Business Success”.
