The Local Enterprise Office celebrated National Women's Enterprise Day on October 19th 2023, for the 17th consecutive year, with events taking place all over Ireland. In Kilkenny, the Parade Tower of Kilkenny Castle hosted entrepreneurs from across the County to network and be inspired by Janet Beck from Glasseye Productions and Trisha Lewis of Trisha's Transformation.

Eimear Ni Bhraonáin interviewed Janet Beck of Glass Eye Productions, the beginning of Glass Eye Production and the support they received from the LEO office to grow their businesses into the international enterprise we see today. Trisha Lewis spoke on her transformation journey and the inspiration she wants to be for other new female entrepreneurs.

National Women's Enterprise Day is Ireland's largest female enterprise event to promote, empower and encourage female entrepreneurship across Ireland. The event is organised by the network of Local Enterprise Offices all over the Country in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland.
