Building a Craft and Design Enterprise Programme - South East 

The Local Enterprise Offices in the South East (Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford & Wexford) along with the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland are seeking expressions of interest from ambitious established design makers in the South East who want to inject new ideas and approaches to product development into their practice. Boost your product into new markets through a series of design led workshops.

The programme is aimed at businesses over 18 months trading with the ambition to grow their business

Over the course of seven months the participant will undertake:

• Research mission to a London trade show COLLECT LONDON & retail visits.
• Enhancing the Design and Product 
• Developing the Brand.
• Costing and Promoting the  product in the marketplace
• 8 days training
• Bespoke 1-2-1 mentoring sessions
• Considered research into future markets.

What can the participant expect to gain from the programme?

• Awareness of future trends
• A move towards new products/ ranges for growth 
• Tools you can use for future product development
• Strategies for getting your product to new market and increasing market share.

Please note that places are limited. 

The fee to participate is 150 euros and the programme is heavily subsidised. This fee is payable to the Design & Crafts council of Ireland 

Dates are subject to slight change and venues will be confirmed before the Programme starts.
