The Local Enterprise Office will host a Free one –to-one Brexit Advisory Clinic on Tuesday 16th April with Brexit advisor Denis Casey. Brexit poses a significant threat to the Irish economy and to SME sector in particular, due to our high trade intensity with the UK. The negative impacts associated with Brexit could adversely have knock-on effects on Irish production and ultimately on the economy as a whole. Owner/managers need to undertake an individual risk assessment for their own business and prepare to take action to mitigate against changes in financial and currency management, sourcing arrangements, customs, transport and logistics. To assist in this process, the Local Enterprise Office Kilkenny is offering a one-to-one Brexit Advisory Clinic for businesses based in Kilkenny to undertake a risk assessment.
The Brexit advisor is Denis Casey, t/a Casey Business Consulting. Denis is an InterTradeIreland approved Brexit Consultant. He provides support to businesses under its Brexit Start to Plan Voucher. Under this he guides business owners through a structured risk assessment process. This identifies the risks posed by Brexit for the business, with each risk weighted based on its impact on profitability and turnover. The results of the risk assessment are then used, together with strategic planning tools, to develop a robust Brexit action plan.
The Local Enterprise Office will host their one –to-one Brexit Advisory Clinic on Tuesday 16th April on their premises, 42 Parliament Street, Kilkenny. Limited places are available – please email bookings@leo.kilkennycoco.ie or phone 056-7752662 to book your appointment.
