Participants will:

• understand Public Relations (PR) and how the media works
• be able to identify positive news stories and capitalize on publicity opportunities
• learn how to write an effective press release
• know how to handle media interviews - radio & press
• learn how to use and maximise social media for PR activities/campaigns
• know how to plan and budget for PR activities/campaigns
• learn how to build and maintain a network of media contacts
