An Cathaoirleach Cllr David Fitzgerald in conjunction with the Local Enterprise Office Kilkenny, Kilkenny IFA and Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce invites you to a briefing breakfast with Ireland's Minister with responsibility for Brexit, An Tanaiste Simon Coveney TD Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Brexit will have an effect at many levels of the local economy: trade, foreign direct investment (FDI), agriculture, retail, tourism, energy, the labour market, EU funding, financial services, immigration and border controls to name a few.
This seminar will also include a panel of speakers who will all give their take and experiences on "how to prepare for Brexit and also about the challenges that they are facing as a result". The panel discussion which will be chaired by Economist Jim Power will include the following:
