This Workshop will provide the participants with the skills, tools and knowledge to be able to plan and implement their website SEO.

Course Content 

• How search engines work – a walk through how search engines like Google work
• The three main components of SEO – on-page SEO, off-page SEO and technical
• Researching keywords – a range of tools to assist with researching target keywords
• How to optimise on-page content effectively for better SEO and usability
• Links - how internal and external links impact a websites position
• Case studies showing how SME website are effectively optimising their websites for search engines like Google 
• Experience researching keywords and optimising content

To take part in the practical elements all participants should have a fully charged laptop (not a tablet) for this workshop.

Outcomes

• At the end of the workshop(s) each participant will:
• Understand SEO and how Google ranks websites
• Have completed an SEO checklist for their website
• Be able to optimise their on-page content for search engines
