New Programme Commencing April 2020
Small businesses in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown which are up and running for at least two years are invited to participate in the Plato Dublin Management Development programme. Over the last two decades, over 3,000 owner managers throughout Ireland have already participated in Plato, which is a confidential peer-to-peer business support forum, supported by the Local Enterprise Offices in the Dublin Region.
Each Plato Group has around ten or twelve members and at the core of the programme are monthly group meetings. Large ‘parent’ companies such as Diageo, ESB, DCU, CRS Pharma, Pfizer, Paypal and Ulster Bank facilitate these group meetings, which take place for three hours every month. The training programme for each group is decided by the group themselves.
“Plato Dublin isn’t just aimed at young businesses, it’s aimed at any small company that has been in business for at least two years and is now looking to improve systems, structures and overall performance. Some of our members started their businesses during the recession, while others have been in business for twenty years or more.”
