Venue:Royal Marine Hotel, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin

Many of us use social media for our personal usage but are not leveraging it's significant potential for increasing sales to our businesses. The benefits of a good Social Media presence include:

  • Helps boost your search engine ranking
  • It's a great way to keep in touch with customers and attract new ones
  • It's an increasingly important part of the sales process for SMEs

This practical workshop will cover:

  • The role of social media in building awareness for businesses and creating potential sales leads
  • The relevant strengths and weaknesses of the different social media platforms for small business owners
  • An introduction to the key terminology of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn and a brief overview of how to use each platform
  • Inspire participants to engage with social media by trading practical examples of small business that have grown considerably using social media techniques

Delivery Methodology

The workshop will include a combination of short presentations integrated with group work and individual tasks online with a strong emphasis on practical application throughout. Participants will get the opportunity to practice their skills during the workshop in a way that will allow you to immediately apply the topics covered in your businesses. This will be supported by relevant printed materials that participants will receive.

Please note, as this is a practical workshop, participants are required to bring their own laptop (that can connect to WiFi).
