Irish online shop for sustainable living, Faerly, had a superb night at the Irish Ecommerce Awards in Dublin - winning three categories as well as being crowned ‘Irish eCommerce Website of the Year 2022” - the most coveted award of the night.

The Kildare-based business was a finalist in three categories of the awards, winning two categories outright ‘Beauty, Health & Wellbeing eCommerce Website of the Year’ as well as the ‘Sustainability Award’ and was also named joint winner of the ‘B2C eCommerce Website of the Year.

The company has previously received a Trading Online Voucher from LEO Kildare and also participated in our Green for Micro programme and the Start Your Own Business Programmes.

James Byrne of Faerly said “We were thrilled to be finalists alongside so many Irish businesses we admire. Never in our wildest dreams did we think that we would win all THREE categories and take home the overall prize for Best Ecommerce Website of the Year!”

The Irish Ecommerce Awards are sponsored by AIB Merchant Services and took place in Dublin’s Mansion House. The event recognises and rewards the organisations, teams and individuals who are helping shape the thriving online retail industry across the island of Ireland. Entries were judged by an esteemed panel of judges including representatives from Enterprise Ireland, Shopify, TikTok and AIB Merchant Services.

It couldn’t have come at a better time for co-founders, James Byrne and Eoin Houlihan, as they get ready for a busy Christmas season ahead. James says “Christmas has definitely started earlier this year and we’re already seeing a lot of interest in our corporate gifting services.”

Faerly promotes a network of small Irish makers and eco-conscious brands and encourages consumers to be more conscious of the need to reduce unnecessary chemicals and plastics in their lives and invest in sustainably-produced gifts, household and skincare products.

Faerly uses 100% plastic-free packaging in all their deliveries and plant a tree for every order placed. The company is a member of 1% For the Planet and donates 1% of sales to environmental projects around the world.
