Kildare County Council's Local Enterprise Office launches She Succeeds at Brigid 1500 Luncheon.

She Succeeds is a unique programme designed to increase the number of women-led companies in Kildare scaling internationally.

 

Kildare, February 1, 2024 –Kildare County Council's Local Enterprise Office in association with County Kildare Chamber and Network Ireland Kildare Branch proudly hosted the She Succeeds Brigid 1500 luncheon in the enchanting Kilkea Castle. The event, attended by over 150 inspiring businesswomen, was a remarkable celebration of achievement, empowerment, and the spirit of St. Brigid. This event marked a significant milestone in fostering a culture of empowerment and success for women in Kildare.

 

 

Jacqui McNabb, Head of Enterprise and Economic Development in Kildare County Council said: She Succeeds is a unique programme designed to proactively target more women to become founders, and to give female entrepreneurs the confidence and skillset to scale, to be unstoppable! This programme echoes and complements the work of Chamber Kildare and Network Ireland Kildare Branch.

 

Guest speakers at the luncheon included the extraordinary author, psychologist and lecturer, Dr. Katriona O'Sullivan, whose inspirational words and insights into success, resilience, and the power of collective determination left a lasting impact on the diverse group of women present.

 

Adding to the event's significance was the official launch of Emma Jane Leeson's book, 'I am Brigid.' Emma Jane captivated the audience reading extracts from her book, demonstrating that I am Brigid is set to inspire and resonate with women from all walks of life.

 

The luncheon provided a unique platform for networking, collaboration, and the celebration of women's achievements in various fields.
