Early in 2024, 12 companies took on the challenge of LEO Kildare’s Export Accelerator.
Over the last 4 months, and supported by our export advisors, each company went deep into Market Research to identify their optimal export market.
They worked to develop a differentiated value proposition for competitive advantage in that market.
They studied the impact of culture, language and demographics.
They learnt about standards and regulations.
They took on board digitisation consultancy to fully optimise their sales process, channel management and customer experience.
On 8th May each pitched their researched and validated Export Plan to a panel of judges including an Enterprise Ireland Regional Representative and former international director of PULL&BEAR.
Kildare based Siog Botanicals were named the winner!
Siog Botanicals specialise in flower pressing, preservation and framing of wedding bouquets. The company have see strong growth from international brides and are developing a custom app to manage orders and shipping to and from Ireland, which would be a new digital offering to make this service uniquely available to export customers.
