Kildare County Council has announced Creative Ireland, Arts Grants, Commissions and Bursary Award opportunities for 2024. We are hosting an information session in MERITS on Tuesday 6th February at 10am to provide guidance on both project eligibility and how to make a full and robust application.

FOCUS ON CRAFT AND CREATIVE: Applying for Creative Ireland, Arts Grants and Bursary Awards
We recognise that funding applications are not everyone’s strength, so the purpose of this networking event is to support each of our cluster members to understand this process and application clearly.
Kildare County Council supports creative and arts events, programmes and artists in a variety of ways annually.
Artists, arts collectives and community groups, schools, and youth groups may consider applying for the following grant and award opportunities to support their artistic projects in 2024:
- Arts Act Grant Scheme
- Artistic Entrepreneur Bursary Award
- Arts in Education Residency Bursary Award
- Arts, Health & Wellbeing Award
- Creative Ireland Bursary Award
- Culture Night 2024 Commission Award
- Dennis O'Driscoll Literary Bursary Awards for emerging and established writers
- Drama League of Ireland Summer School Bursary Award
- Emerging Artist Solo Exhibition Award, in partnership with Riverbank Arts Centre
- Executive Coaching for Creative Professionals Bursary Award
- First Fortnight Award, in partnership with First Fortnight Festival
- Local Publishing Award
- Platform4 Recording Studio Bursary Award
- Research and Thinking Award
- Short Grass Film - Bursary (€1,500) Award
- Short Grass Film - Commission (€12,500) Award
- Tyrone Guthrie Centre Residency
- Youth Arts Residency Bursary Award
The deadline for receipts of applications for all awards is 12pm, Wednesday 28th February 2024.
