Growing LEAN - Getting Started with LEAN Seminar


Featuring talks from local business owners that will give an insight into the real and tangible change that introducing LEAN principles can have on businesses, and 'One small step or One Giant Leap' with guest speaker Stuart Nelson, Jigsaw Better Business. 


The biggest challenge that many business owners face is how to get started with Lean.  This event will set out the many supports available to businesses to Grow Lean - an introduction to Lean Thinking, covering the basics, and how it is applied to many businesses.

This workshop will feature talks from local business people who will give an insight into the real and tangible change introducing LEAN principles can have on businesses.

On the day we will hear from Kildare Local Enterprise Office Head of Enterprise, Jacqui McNabb, who will discuss the many supports available. 

Following this, four Kildare businesses, Trevor Lynam of Lynam Painting, Kathleen Scully of Vacuum & Pressure Services, & Barry Flannagan of Kildare Brewing Company will share the challenges they faced in their business, and how Lean Thinking has transformed their business and what role digitalization played. 

Robert Hernan of Enterprise Ireland will then discuss the Lean for Micro on a national level, and award-winning Lean Coach, Stuart Nelson of Jigsaw Better Business will deliver an interactive workshop on Growing Lean.
