The programme provides an introduction to the critical aspects of employment law for those new to the area with an interest or role in understanding an employer’s obligations, reducing risk and how to manage compliance effectively

• Grievances & Discipline
• Dismissal
• The Workplace Relations Commission

The programme will be delivered in a collegiate taught learning environment that promotes on-going discussion, break out group work, supervised individual work and Power point Presentations.

Participants on this programme will leave with an enhanced knowledge of Employment Law, an understanding of the legal requirements involved in employing people, the different types of employment contracts that exist and how to deal with staff grievances.
