What is Business Sustainability and why dose it matter to your business ?

Business sustainability is when a company conducts its business without harming people or planet, safeguarding its future business in the process, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem”  Reducing greenhouse gas emissions, protecting nature and delivering social governance are all ways that businesses can make the shift towards sustainability.

World renowed Science, Natural History & Environmental broadcaster Liz Bonnin takes us through the many ways in which businesses any sector or size can look to change the way they operate to be more sustainable and have a smaller environmental footprint while leading to business cost savings in areas such as energy consumption, waste disposal, and insurance premiums

This event is suitable for people at all stages of your business regardless of size and sector :

Hosted by Local Enterprise Office ,Liz's lively stage talk will focus on her learnings and experience of over 40 years of environmental and wildlife programming. It will lean into how important a healthy planet is, what she has seen happen to the natural world - and what we need to change about the way we live in order to support the planet and secure our future. It'll cover topics such as the roles of healthy ecosystems, climate change, biodiversity loss, the way we consume, the changes we can make as consumers and investors and the systemic change needed to truly solve all of our environmental crises  “if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem”
