Innovate Kildare Business Innovation Support Programme

Access support to re-assess your business and develop innovative strategies for adapting to market challenges and opportunities

Kildare Local Enterprise Office is excited to announce the launch of Innovate Kildare the Business Innovation Support Programme. 

The programme has been developed by Kildare Local Enterprise Office in association with Enterprise Ireland and DesignCORE - An established centre for innovation and commercialisation in Design and New Product Development, as part of Institute of Technology Carlow.

The new programme will be delivered by specialist mentors from the growing team of academics and industry-facing creative designers at Design CORE from March 2021 - May 2021.

Innovate Kildare is an opportunity for innovative Kildare SMEs to re-assess their business and develop innovative strategies for adapting to market challenges and opportunities.

The programme will bring participants through a defined process to discover and analyse where the innovation potential lies in your enterprise and how you can capitalise on those opportunities to strive for growth.

Innovate Kildare is aimed at established businesses (trading on average 3 years+) with between 3 - 50 employees, based in Kildare.

About the Programme:

For businesses who

• Want to grow their business
• Wish to create more value or improve/transform their business
• Are looking to innovate to create opportunity
• Have concerns about the effects of Brexit & Covid-19 on their business model

Programme Delivery 

The Innovate Kildare programme consists of

• 2 x half day masterclasses from 9.30am to 1pm
• 3 x two hour 1:1 mentoring sessions with a qualified mentor

All masterclasses and mentoring sessions are delivered online.

The programme commences on Tuesday 30th March 2021, and places are limited.

Programme Details

Masterclasses (9.30am - 1pm)

• Introduction to programme & discussion on needs

• Delivery of design-driven innovation process and toolkit

One-to-One Mentoring Sessions (2 hours)

• Three one-to-one sessions with design strategist over a period of 8 weeks
