Join us for an inspiring afternoon dedicated to female entrepreneurship, resilience, and creativity, as we honour St. Brigid’s Day—a symbol of strength and renewal—and launch the She Succeeds 2026 calendar of events.
This is the 3rd annual gathering to celebrate St. Brigid and it brings together women in business for networking, learning, and empowerment, featuring Kildare’s Geraldine Osborne, author of Somewhere Cold. Her keynote will share her remarkable experience in Antarctica, a journey that reflects the essence of pushing boundaries, embracing the unknown, and discovering that the most valuable lessons often come from unexpected places.
Attendees should arrive at Kilkea Castle, Athy for 12noon for registration and networking. You will enjoy a 2-course lunch throughout the afternoon and receive a copy of Geraldine’s book 'Somewhere Cold.'
The Local Enterprise Team will also officially launch the exciting line-up of events designed to support and celebrate women in enterprise in 2026.
Together, we honour Brigid’s legacy and the entrepreneurial spirit that drives women forward.
This event is also delivered in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
EEN is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions. It helps businesses innovate, grow, and access new markets through expert advice, partnerships, and EU funding opportunities.
On the day, EEN Advisors will be available in person to provide information and guidance on how your business can benefit from EEN services, including internationalisation, innovation support, and access to EU opportunities.
