The Trading Online Voucher Scheme helps small businesses trade more online to boost their sales and reach new markets. This scheme is a 10% co-funding opportunity with up to €2,500 available and can be used towards eligible costs such as digital marketing strategies, e-commerce websites or app development. The session consists of a highly interactive session with live Q&A, Networking Virtual Breakout Rooms and Downloadable Slide-deck as well as the Application form for this grant. This course is strictly for Kildare based businesses only.

Therefore, this session will be the last Trading Online Voucher seminar we run, until further funding is announced.

This online mandatory Information session will cover various topics, including developing a website, digital marketing, social media for business and search engine optimisation. The information provided is impartial and will help you decide on what trading online options, are right for your business.     

Cutting the cost of developing your online trading capacity by up to 90% can make the investment very affordable for many small businesses out there. 

Businesses will receive their application form following registration and attendance of this online seminar.


About the Trading Online Voucher Scheme

The trading online voucher is an initiative that aims to support small Irish businesses to enhance their online trading presence. 

Trading Online Vouchers to the value of €2,500 (90% of eligible costs up to the maximum of €2,500)  are now available through this programme under the National Digital Strategy funded through the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources and delivered through the Local Enterprise Office. The objective of the scheme is to help small businesses build their brand, grow their sales, exports and ultimately jobs.  

The Trading Online Voucher Scheme helps small businesses trade more online to boost their sales and reach new markets. This scheme is an opportunity with up to €2,500 available, with further supports provided by Local Enterprise Offices. Funding can be used towards eligible costs such as digital marketing strategies, e-commerce websites or app development.

Over 2,000 businesses, just like yours, have already benefitted from the scheme. Don’t get left behind. We can help and support you throughout the process.


To qualify for the scheme, businesses must have:

  • no more than 10 employees;

  • less than €2m in turnover;

  • be trading for at least 6 months and

  • be located in the region of the local enterprise office to whom they are applying.

Failure to provide a minimum of 48 hours  notice of cancellation will result in an immediate fee of €50

Courses are limited to one person per company
