Cleanpass COVID-19 Back to Work Training Course
Delivered by the hygiene, infection prevention and control specialists at Cleanpass, this programme is designed to help businesses in all sectors re-open their businesses safely and effectively during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Based on the Government’s extensive ‘Return to Work’ Protocol guidelines and medical-grade hygiene standards, this training programme is straightforward and accessible.
Employers who launch this training in their workplaces will be able to:
- Minimise disruption in the business due to the government guidelines
- Reassure staff and customers that they are prepared and they are protected
- Offset risk and potential liability by training and certifying their employees
- Return to profitable productivity sooner
Course Content
By completing the ‘COVID19 Back to Work’ course, businesses will have an understanding of:
- What steps must be taken in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading in their workplace
- How to protect themselves, their colleagues and their customers
Course content includes:
- Symptoms of COVID-19
- How COVID-19 is spread
- Hand hygiene
- Correct use of PPE
- Worker responsibilities
- Maintaining safe premises
- Dealing with a suspected COVID-19 case in the workplace
Course Delivery
The two-hour online course consists of bite-sized videos and clear written guidelines with interactive tools to ensure engagement.
Learners can progress at their own pace, or repeat specific modules on demand.
Feedback will be provided through quizzes as the course proceeds, and the forum and discussion board enables the learner to access real-time help or assistance which is delivered online via chat.
On completion of this course
The learner's progress is tracked and recorded, and certification will be provided to the learner and to the employer upon successful completion of the course. These records can be stored with the company’s employee and Health and Safety records.

This programme has been developed in line with National best practice and evidence-based hygiene standards, including the Health Information and Quality Authority’s (HIQA) 2017 – National Standards for the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections in acute healthcare services.
