140 business women and entrepreneurs met from across the region for National Women’s Enterprise Day in Cashel. Keynote speaker Ciara Kelly spoke about the ripple effect in business and noted that “even if you mess up, it will be tomorrow’s chip paper … and tomorrow’s funny story.” Limerick panellist Maura Kearney spoke about going into business while in college and advised ““Whatever you do, do it well and there will be a market for it.” Other panellist spoke about the changes in working geographically and that it was now possible open businesses in areas as diverse as fintech and fashion outside Dublin – one speaker said ‘I always thought I would have to work in Dublin to work at that level.” Attendees said that networking and business advice were two of the key strengths of the event. You, too, can be part of a new networking and learning course - LEO Limerick has also launched a new course for female entrepreneurs in Limerick starting this November https://www.localenterprise.ie/Limerick/Training-Events/Online-Bookings/CONNECT-for-female-entrepreneurs.html...
