Cork & Kerry Food Forum 28th & 29th June

Cork and Kerry Food Forum will be a 'foodie heaven'

If you happen to be strolling the streets of Cork City on the 28th of June then make your way over to City Hall as you're in for a gastronomic Feast! Cork Kerry Food Forum returns this Summer celebrating the culinary spirit of both counties. Drop in and support your local artisan producers from Cork and Kerry.  Cork City Hall will be transformed into a foodie heaven as the City Hall is taken over for an Open Market, featuring the very best Artisan Food producers from Cork and Kerry. Due to the enormous success of last year's event, the decision was made to make it even bigger for 2015 with the announcement of a free public market on Sunday afternoon, 28 June. “The Cork and Kerry region is renowned nationally and internationally for its high quality food produce, and with the concentration of artisan producers in this area, the Food Forum is an ideal way to showcase the variety of excellent food produced here to consumers, retailers and distributors as well as key industry stakeholders,” said Adrienne Rodgers, Local Enterprise Office Cork City. “All are welcome to attend the Cork and Kerry Food Forum, and entrance is free of charge. We want people to come along and experience the wonderful food culture here, and we guarantee to give visitors food for thought in more ways than one. We are also happy that the Irish Examiner and 96FM have come on board with us this year. ”

The aim of this exciting event is to promote Cork and Kerry food and artisan producers, by a partnership including the Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) Cork and Kerry, Cork City Council, Cork County Council, Kerry County Council, SuperValu and Bord Bia.
Supervalu Ambassador Celebrity Chef Kevin Dundon will be giving cookery demonstrations and providing creative inspiration while Patricia Flaherty from A Touch of Magic will also give demonstrations for kids.
