As part of National Jobs Week, the Local Enterprise Offices in Cork City and County and the Department of Social Protection are co-hosting an information event for business owners / managers on Friday 3rd of October at 8.30 am at the River Lee Hotel, Western Road, Cork. This event will provide businesses with an overview of all the initiatives available from the Local Enterprise Offices and the Department of Social Protection to support employers seeking to create jobs. Format:
8.30am: Registration and Networking
9.00am: Local Enterprise Office presentation on range of business supports
9.30am: Department of Social Protection on their incentives for businesses
10.00am: Panel discussion with experts from these organisations
10.30am: Dept. of Social Protection workshop on recruitment through Jobs Ireland
10.30am: As part of the event we will be running a number of Business Advice Clinics free of charge for any employers who would like an opportunity to discuss their particular situation on a one to one basis with advisors from the LEO and DSP.
