Introduction to Public Procurement for Small Businesses

  • Mondays - 5th and 12th October

  • 09:30-13:00

Over the course of the two half-day sessions, participants will be introduced to:

  • examining the 'real' requirements of a tender document
  • forming a successful long term tendering strategy
  • applying best practice guidance, tips and pointers on how to write the proposal document
  • using the eTenders website to it maximum potential
  • source business opportunities
  • procurement law, including rights as a bidder
  • be able to approach tender/proposal presentations by utilising best practice
  • considering the benefits of consortium bids, how they work and how to manage them
  • awareness of 'Green' procurement
  • understand the fundamental concepts of sustainability and how to integrate it into procurement
  • understand what AI can and cannot do for your bids so you can set clear and realistic expectations.
