Microfinance Ireland provides small loans to help start-ups and established businesses to get the finance they need for their business. 

At Kildare Local Enterprise Office, we are here to support you with acquiring this financial support.  We have business mentors ready to assist you with your applications.

When we receive your completed application we will then appoint a mentor to review and work with you on the application before we submit it to Micro Finance Ireland on your behalf.

The assistance from our mentor is free of charge to you and you will also receive 1% discount on the interest rate when you make your application through our office.

Business loans available from €2,000 up to €50,000

Features & Benefits

  • Reduced interest rate of 5.5% APR if submitted through the Local Enterprise Office Network. (6.5% APR applies if you submit your application directly to Microfinance Ireland).
  • Access to business supports, advice and mentoring if applied through the Local Enterprise Office Network
  • Business Loan amounts from €2,000 to €50,000
  • Repayments will commence in month 7 for the remaining period of your loan.
  • Loan terms from 1 - 5 years
  • No fees or charges
  • Fixed repayments with no penalty for early repayment
