Quotes Sought for Mentoring Services specific to Food and Beverage Producing Businesses for Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office
Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office (LEO) is seeking proposals from experienced business practitioners with expertise specific to the food and beverage industry to work with start-ups and established entrepreneurs, small business owner/managers who need practical and strategic mentoring specific to the food and beverage industry.
Mentors are sought in the following areas specific to food/beverage production:
- Scaling to supply national and international food retailers
- Managing distributor contracts and relationships
- Quality manual & standard development for BRC, ISO 22000, etc
- Ingredients specialist
- Labelling and nutritional declarations
- Shelf-life extension and ingredient functionality
- Understanding pricing and margins for food/beverage product production
Proposals may also include other suggested areas of expertise if specific to food/beverage production.
The duration of each assignment will be decided by the Local Enterprise Office based on the needs of the client.
The Mentor will be assigned clients for mentoring appointments via the Submit platform or any other method advised by the Local Enterprise Office. On completion of the mentoring session(s) the mentor will prepare a report and action plan for the client and submit an online project report to the Local Enterprise Office via the Submit platform or as advised by the Local Enterprise Office.
