The final in our series of library talks concludes with Niamh Sherwin Barry of The Irish Fairy Door Company. Niamh will be discussing her journey from start up with assistance from LEO South Dublin, to making the transition to becoming a client of Enterprise Ireland which helped the company grow and sell internationally.

Today The Irish Fairy Door Company has sold more than 750,000 products worldwide, including innovative Worry Plaques which are designed to provide children with a way of handing over the worries to fairies, so they can worry less.

The wonderful characters created by The Irish Fairy Door Company are now being brought to life as part of a “game-changing” global animation deal with Wild Brain, a digital network with 50 million subscribers and a portfolio that includes brands such as Fireman Sam, Curious George and Ben 10.

Niamh has also recently founded The Content Fairy, which assists businesses in connecting with their potential customers by honing their messaging through storytelling.
