National Enterprise Awards 2023
The National Enterprise Awards competition is organised annually by the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Network to acknowledge the achievements of small businesses and to highlight their valuable contribution to the local economy. The National awards is the only national competition specifically for the micro-enterprise sector.
The competition is now open for entries from Longford businesses operating in the manufacturing & internationally traded services sectors who have received financial assistance from the Longford LEO.
Businesses must have ten or less full-time employees as of 31st December 2022. Companies that have received support by way of feasibility studies or R&D assistance from other agencies are not excluded. Previous Longford County finalists are eligible to enter.
Entries will be judged in accordance with the national guidelines (marketing strengths, financial strength, innovation & technology, entrepreneurial skills and business plan). Completed application forms together with a Business Plan and the most recent financial statements must be submitted for adjudication.
The winner will be announced and presented at the County Longford final which will take place on Friday, 10th March 2023.
The Overall County Winner will go forward and compete with winners from each of the 31 Local Enterprise Office areas around the country at the National Enterprise Award’s Final which will take place in the Mansion House, Dublin on 1st June 2023. National winners will be in with a chance to win a part of the €50,000 National prize fund.
