Come along to the final Tri County Women in Business event for 2022. We will once again be joined by our colleagues from Counties Leitrim and Westmeath. The theme for this event will be “Rest, Relax and Refocus” particularly appropriate as we move into a very busy time of the year and look forward to 2023.

Tri County Women in Business Event - The Sin Bin, Longford Rugby Club - Tuesday, 6th December

Come along to the final Tri County Women in Business event for 2022. We will once again be joined by our colleagues from Counties Leitrim and Westmeath. The theme for this event will be “Rest, Relax and Refocus”  particularly appropriate as we move into a very busy time of the year and look forward to 2023.

The event will be opened by Tri County (Leitrim, Longford and Westmeath) Women in Business Network Chairperson Pat Murphy.  Guest speaker will be Carole Coleman - well known broadcaster and author.  She will share her journey to date - managing a busy professional and home life.  A facilitated networking session will be conducted by Fran Best of Lissawell Coaching.   A local business from each of the Counties - Leitrim, Longford and Westmeath will also have an opportunity to tell their story and share their experiences.

So come along and join us for a pre Christmas get together which is sure to leave you inspired, energised and motivated as well as offering you the opportunity to  meet fellow like minded business women from the three counties.

Meet the Speakers:

Carole Coleman

Carole Coleman is a well-known broadcaster and author. Raised in Leitrim and schooled in Longford (Newtownforbes), she is heard on RTE Radio One on Sundays where she co-presents This Week and World Report.

Carole’s latest book News From Under a Coat Stand (2021) is a colourful diary documenting the arrival of Covid-19 in Ireland in early 2020 and the three-month nationwide lockdown that followed

Carole is a former RTE Washington Correspondent and is currently sharing her expertise with Journalism students at the University of Galway.

She comes from a business background and is a mother to two typical teenagers!

Fran Best is an EMCC accredited senior practitioner, founder and CEO of Lissawell Coaching specialising in Business mentoring and Leadership coaching.

Lisa Gifford, Gypsy Gifford and Richelle South are the trio behind the newly completed Leitrim Hill Creamery specialising in raw milk soft goat cheese. They also have ambitious plans to bring jobs and more food tourism to Leitrim, through farm tours, cheese making classes and promotion of local products. Jenevieve Butler, originally from Pretoria, is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist. In 2019, she set up "Midland Hearing Care" having discovered that a town the size of Longford had no private sector Diagnostic Audiology services. She credits the supports and networking opportunities offered by LEO Longford as vital to the set-up, development and success of her business. Denise Buckley is the founder of Wholesome Kitchen, a restaurant & catering company in Mullingar & the recently launched Sugar Plum Sweetery, an online Chocolate & Sweet Emporium with a shop and chocolate factory located in Mullingar. Denise worked for top luxury department stores in Ireland for over 16 years leading her to want to set up her own businesses in her hometown of Mullingar.
