Introduction To Google Analytics - 04/03/2024

Brief

As part of this Google Analytics course, we will understand how to build measurement plans and prepare for the new privacy-first digital context. We will explain and explore the core types of traffic and how to create and analyse reports based on measurement plan execution. This course will allow students to develop a basic understanding of Google Analytics 4 and how it works.

Who’s This For?

This workshop is perfect for SMEs getting started with GA4 or who need help getting the data rolling in the right direction. How could different business types benefit?

  • B2B (Business-to-Business): B2B companies often engage in long sales cycles and relationship-driven transactions. Utilizing Google Analytics, they can understand how other businesses are interacting with their content and products, where the leads are coming from, and what content resonates with potential clients. Insights into user behaviour, acquisition channels, and conversion funnels help them optimize marketing strategies, create personalized content, and measure ROI on various campaigns.
  • B2C (Business-to-Consumer): B2C companies focus on reaching individual consumers, where purchasing decisions are often quicker and driven by emotions or personal needs. Google Analytics allows B2C businesses to track consumer behaviour, identify successful marketing channels, and optimize product placements. Understanding demographics, interests, and how consumers navigate their site can lead to more targeted marketing and a personalized shopping experience
  • D2C (Direct-to-Consumer): D2C brands operate by selling directly to the end consumer, bypassing traditional retail channels. This model requires a strong online presence and an in-depth understanding of customer behaviour. Google Analytics helps D2C companies track every step of the customer journey, from initial interaction to purchase and even post-purchase behaviour.
