Keynote speaker Ciara Kelly spoke about the ripple effect in business and noted that “even if you mess up, it will be tomorrow’s chip paper … and tomorrow’s funny story.” Limerick panellist Maura Kearney spoke about going into business while in college and advised ““Whatever you do, do it well and there will be a market for it.” Other panellist spoke about the changes in working geographically and that it was now possible open businesses in areas as diverse as fintech and fashion outside Dublin – one speaker said ‘I always thought I would have to work in Dublin to work at that level.” Attendees said that networking and business advice were two of the key strengths of the event.
