National Women's Enterprise Day 2014 - Creating Connections ..... Building Business.

The aim of ‘National Women’s Enterprise Day’ is to encourage even more women to set up their own businesses and to increase national recognition of the essential role played by Ireland’s female entrepreneurs. Advice, mentoring and networking were key elements of National Women's Enterprise Day 2013 with a panel of experienced mentors available. Successful businesswomen shared their experiences with start-up companies and fledgling businesses at NWED 2013, at a two day event organised by Ireland’s 35 County and City Enterprise Boards.

NWED 2013 was co-financed by the European Social Fund with support from the Department of Justice and Equality, through the Equality for Women initiative. Download the NWED Conference Brochure HERE.

Keynote speakers at NWED 2013 were:

  • Ramona Nicholas, Cara Pharmacy and Dragons' Den 2013
  • Eleanor Mc Evoy, Budget Energy
  • Kathleen Lynch T.D., Minister for Disability, Equality, Mental Health and Older People
