Grant Application Process

For Feasibility, Priming and Business Development Grants ONLY

The Process: 

  1. Please read the eligibility criteria before making a request for financial support. If you are interested in the Trading Online Voucher or Technical Assistance for Micro Exporter (TAME) Grant, please refer to the relevant pages for information and how to apply. Requests which do not meet the eligibility criteria should refer to our mentoring, training and networking supports for assistance.

  2. Complete the Business Support Request online only if you have read the eligibility criteria and deem yourself suitable for grant funding. Your completed Business Support Request Form will be reviewed. A member of our team will be in touch within 10 working days to confirm that you are indeed eligible to apply for grant funding.

  3. When deemed eligible for financial supports, you must meet with a Business Advisor before you make an application for grant financial assistance. Following discussion with our Business Advisor, you will then submit a formal application, see notes below

  4. Your formal application for grant financial assistance will be reviewed internally and if deemed ready will progress to our independent Evaluation & Approvals Committee (EVAC) for review and a decision will be made. Details of Evaluation & Approvals Committee here

  5. If approved, a letter of offer/contract is issued

  6. If the grant is accepted, you will then be invited to attend our draw down briefing session for further information on drawing down your approved grant.

What to note when submitting your grant application:

Please note, if you fail to follow the instructions below, you will delay your application

  • Applications must be typed

  • Applications must be signed

  • All applications much be made through Applications in any other format are no longer accepted since December 2019.

  • We need to receive ALL of the required information on the relevant check-list (see the grant application form)

CVs of promoters

3 written quotes for each item over €5,000 net

1 written quote for each item up to €5,000 net

Financials - for Priming & Business Expansion Grant, recent certified audited accounts, management accounts withing 3 months of application, 3 years projections

  • For Priming and Business expansion grants you must be creating at least 1 new full-time paid job and have paying customers

  • Up to date Tax Clearance Certificate(TCC) (To apply for the cert please click here). Your company/personal TCC must be in date in order for payment to be made.

  • If you require support with costs for trade shows outside of Ireland please complete a separate Export Assistance Application (TAME) and submit it along side your Priming or Business Expansion grant
