Aim of Workshop: 

This two-day, high-impact blended programme is designed to help early-stage creative entrepreneurs (e.g. artists, jewellery makers, fashion designers, printmakers, photographers, crafters) build a viable and scalable business around their creative passions. Through practical, tailored support, participants will learn how to develop, test, price and sell their products while building a brand that communicates value and resonates with their audience.

By the end of the 2-day programme, participants will be able to:

  • Transition from hobbyist to business mindset with confidence
  • Refine and test their product or service for market fit
  • Identify and reach their ideal customer segment
  • Understand pricing strategies, cost management and break-even principles
  • Manage money simply and effectively using basic tools and POS systems
  • Tell their creative brand story clearly and effectively
  • Develop a strong brand presence online and offline
  • Select suitable platforms to start selling (Etsy, Shopify, etc.)
  • Explore the basics of exporting and logistics for product sales
  • Build a lean business plan to support growth
  • Connect with relevant LEO and enterprise supports for ongoing development
