COURSE CONTENTS  

Personality types.  Get an understanding of the different personalities in your team and how best to interact  with them.   

What are the stages/phases of team development. Where is your team at?  

What can go wrong with a team? Examine 2 of the most fundamental issues that can affect a team and strategies to deal with them.  

When there is conflict what can you do? What techniques can you employ when you need to approach a colleague to address an issue? When the conversation becomes emotional or tense, how can you deal with this? Active listening techniques. How to really listen and how to demonstrate you are really listening to the other person.

Case studies. Work through a number of case studies to see how these techniques work.
