Bill is a highly experienced sales & marketing professional with particular expertise in business development and strategies for start-up companies. Most of this expertise has been gained as a CEO or at senior management level here in Ireland & abroad. Throughout his corporate career his main focus has been in the areas of retailing, distribution & new product development. For the past ten years he has been working exclusively in the general area of SME supports & development.
After 5 year’s service as an officer in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, Bill made a major career change into the area of Sales & Marketing and worked in senior management roles with three of the main UK retailers & also sat on the board of WPM Ltd (Crown, Sanderson, Polycell, BMK Carpets, Briton Chadwick products). He was also the founder of the Leeds based Business Consultancy & Training company, RCSN Ltd. His clients included The British Hardware Federation, B & Q, The Baker’s Stores Group & Bord Gais. In Ireland Bill worked for 10 years as Sales/Marketing/Commercial Manager of The Maxol Group. Following four years as CEO of Plato Dublin he is now working as a consultant in private practice, is involved in three medium sized family related companies and also as a mentor & programme manager for LEO Dublin City.
