Celebration, Connection and Inspiration for Women in Business in Dublin

For the fourth consecutive year, four networks came together to hold a major event to celebrate theachievements of women in business In Dublin.The Dublin Chamber of Commerce’s “Mentoring for Female Entrepreneurs programme” and theWomen In Business networks from Fingal, Dublin City and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown CountyEnterprise Boards organised the event which took place on the eve of International Women’s Day on Thursday, 7th March at 6pm in the Alexander Hotel, Dublin.Over 200 female entrepreneurs and business women attended this year’s event which featuredtalks by Vodafone Ireland CEO Anne O'Leary and presentations from a panel of four inspirationalentrepreneurs who have expanded their businesses in recent years: Anne Bedos – Rothar , Martina Delaney - Clevamama, Elaine McCabe - Clever Box Club and Gillian Moore - Fuschia Make Up. The MC on the night will be Aileen O’Meara, Aileen O’Meara Media. The talks and lively panel discussion were followed by informal networking over finger food and wine. The event was kindly sponsored byVodafone.Attendees found the speakers to be inspirational and there were many comments that it was great to hear how their ideas developed into successful businesses. Many attendees also commented that there was a nice positive atmosphere in the room which was conducive to networking.Pictured above are members of Dublin City Enterprise Network for Women at the event.
