Kate O’Moore, MAKER
Kate O’Moore, the multi-award-winning Creative Director of MAKER and Entrepreneur of the Year 2020 (LEO WIBN), helps brands to thrive through the graphic design and branding services that MAKER provides. Beginning her career in creative advertising, Kate set up MAKER in 2016 with the ambition to help businesses to succeed through a strong visual brand and presence. Since she established MAKER, she has gained a wealth of experience and recognition for her efforts in her business mindset in these 5 years of business.
MAKER has grown from strength to strength since it was established in 2016. Kate has been recognised for her growth mindset and ambitious resilience to keep innovating within the business including being awarded Entrepreneur of the Year (2020) and the Rising Star Award (2019) by the Local Enterprise Office Dublin City (WIBN), shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year (2019) in the IMAGE Business Awards and shortlisted by the DEASP in the Dublin Region Enterprise Awards (2018).
The aim of MAKER is to empower brands to do what they do best, by giving them the right visual assets to pursue their business dreams.
Aisling Grimley, The Silk Pillowcase.com
Aisling Grimley runs The Silk Pillowcase.com which she founded in July 2019. The company sells silk pillowcases, mulberry silk eye masks for better sleep and introduced silk face masks during the pandemic through its website, www.thesilkpillowcase.com, as well as through a limited number of retailers. The products are designed in Ireland and ethically sourced from some of the finest producers of silk in China.
Aisling also founded and runs My Second Spring in 2013, Ireland’s first dedicated menopause website – www.mysecondspring.ie. This menopause resource reaches almost 1 million visitors a year, and has contributed significantly over the years to the opening up of the topic of menopause in Ireland and further afield. Women around the world visit My Second Spring each day for information and inspiration on a topic that is still neglected and under discussed today. Aisling realised she could meet some of their needs with practical solutions to add to their sleep and beauty rituals via The Silk Pillowcase and its products.
In December 2020, Aisling and The Silk Pillowcase won the Rising Star Of The Year award from LEO Women in Business.
Marsha Abrahams CIMA
Marsha founded Boost Beauty Solutions in 2015. Boost is a distributor of professional Beauty & Skincare Products and provides Business Services to help Boost Beauty Salons, Spas & Skincare Centres in Ireland. It is a distributor of Juliette Armand Skincare, Grande Cosmetics and Storyderm mask. It helps to boost the Beauty Industry with regular Business webinars and training sessions.
Marsha won Dublin LEO’s Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2016.
Marsha was a co-founder of The Buff Day Spa in 2002.
