Think Before You Trust: Protecting Your Business in the AI Era Scams, Impersonation and the New Risks to Your Online Reputation

Free

Overview

Belén Delgado is a Trust & Safety and Change Management leader with extensive experience across global technology companies including eBay, Meta, LinkedIn and Accenture. Her background spans online safety, fraud and investigations, digital trust, operational risk and collaboration with law enforcement internationally.

In this session, Belén will explore how AI is changing the online threat landscape, making scams, impersonation and social engineering increasingly sophisticated, personalised and convincing. With a particular focus on the human side of online safety, she will examine why trust has become one of a business’s most valuable — and vulnerable — assets. She will also share recommendations and preventive measures to help small businesses recognise some of the most common online threats, reduce their exposure to them, and protect the trust and digital reputation they have built with their customers and communities.

Intended Audience:

The session is designed for small business owners and entrepreneurs who use online platforms to promote, communicate or do business with their customers. No technical or cybersecurity knowledge is required.
