Brief Programme Description

This half day workshop led by media and communications expert Helen Shaw takes a small group of business people through social media platforms from Facebook and Twitter to LinkedIn, Instagram and Vine and gets behind how they work for business. It is an introductory workshop which aims to get people up and running on social media tools and give them an understanding of how to use them well and avoid pitfalls.

 

Helen Shaw is MD of Athena Media, a digital media production company based in Dublin and Manchester, and she's been running social media and communications workshops for four years. Athena Media Training has trained over 1,000 companies and Helen has worked on an exclusive basis with companies including the Irish Times, Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland, Derry City Council and the Ryan Academy for Entrepreneurship and is a registered trainer with the Dublin City Local Enterprise Office.
