Dublin Food Chain - Breakfast Workshop

Breakfast Workshop, 27th October

Focus on the Convenience Food Sector led by Centra

(with a special guest speaker focusing on global packaging innovation)

This breakfast workshop will focus on producer opportunities within the convenience retail sector through the eyes of convenience retailer Centra with a separate input on global packaging innovation from a UK guest speaker.

The Centra overview will be provided by leading retailer Elaine Aherne who owns Centra Kilcoole. Elaine will provide an overview of the retailer’s strategy, and guidelines on how producers can maximise their chances of success within the group.

Successful Centra supplier Seamus Tighe will guide participants through his journey, and provide tips on how to succeed within the convenience sector. Through his Everest Granola brand, Seamus has had significant success within the Centra group.

Our third speaker is Jacqueline Lawford who is a UK based packaging “ideation” expert. Her experience has led her to develop and launch hundreds of NPD products including Europe’s first 100% PCR drinks bottle for Innocent drinks, develop and lead packaging consumer insights to drive innovation at Birdseye and has worked in collaboration with cross-functional business leaders to shape packaging strategy. She now spends her time as a freelance packaging consultant supporting businesses to ideate, develop and realise their packaging concepts.

This event is being led by LEO Dublin City and will be hosted in the Light House Cinema.
