This workshop will bring together three high level speakers from the food sector on the topic of foodservice. The speakers will each guide participants through their foodservice journey and share tips and advice.

The foodservice sector is worth over €7.5 Billion annually and can be a real opportunity area for food producers. Whether your interest lies in finding a foodservice distributor or growing your sales through a new sector, this event is for you.

Overview of our Foodservice Journey

Lily and Dom formally began Lily's Tea Shop as a full-time business in 2014 with the help of the Food Academy programme. Over the last 10 months, Lily and Dom have developed their market reach and now supply their tea to 70 nationwide stores and counting. Dom will share Lily’s Tea Shop Foodservice Journey and how they have succeeded in the sector.

Advice from the Coal Face

Over the past decade Barry and Paul McNerney have left their mark on the crossroads at Beggars Bush of Dublin 4. Between opening Junior’s on Bath Avenue in 2008 and Paulie’s Pizza around the corner on Upper Grand Canal Street in 2010, as well as being partners in the excellent gastropub The Old Spot on Bath Avenue, these brothers and their teams have made this little patch of Dublin 4 considerably tastier. Barry will provide his insight of the sector currently and advice to help you on your way.

This event is being led by LEO South Dublin and will be held in Áras Chrónáin Irish Cultural Centre, Watery lane Orchard Lane, Clondalkin, Dublin 22. Áras Chrónáin Irish Cultural Centre is a unique oasis of vibrant Irish Language, Music, Song, Dance and Culture within a magnificent Georgian house right in the heart of old Clondalkin village.
